Learn2Game: PresentationThis 2 hour presentation aims to more clearly outline the aims of Cicero’s ‘Game2Learn’ approach. Designed for those with a limited knowledge of videogames or gaming in general, it will examine the trends amongst the target demographic, the advances that have been made in the gaming industry, what games can be applied in the classroom to achieve learning outcomes and how this can be successfully adopted within educational establishments.

10 minutesClassroom ApplicationWe walk the guests through which lessons the games would be included in and how they would be used against the existing marking criteria of the different syllabuses.

    I have worked as an English teacher in several schools across Hong Kong in an educational career that has spanned over a decade. As a young teacher delivering English language lessons in schools, I was encouraged by the tenacity of students and the passion of the city's teachers. To build on the strong educational legacy that the city boasts, I wanted to reinvigorate the sector with innovative ideas that approached teaching from a gaming perspective.
